Food was great and owner was a delight. We were seated immediately and after ordering our food came out quickly. We had perfectly prepared meat and rice. My husband is Pakistani and although we did not get a pakistani dish, the food we saw others eating looked both authentic and fresh. Wish we could have eaten more! I have celiac disease and nothing was marked specifically safe, but I had no real issues after having dined here. Highly recommend!!

The food really fantastic. For the first time, I ate Kabsa Lamb the taste really make me enjoyed and the meat very soft. Worth the money to eat at Ali's Kitchen Osaka restaurant. The really Pakistani & Arabic taste. My family of 9 persons really enjoyed the food served.

High quality, delicious food, big portions, and great service! The owner is super friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is small, but accommodating. It’s a little pricey, but worth the money! It’s located on the basement floor. Need to go back!!

You must try highly recommended top class Pakistani and Arabic food, Their Mutton Biryani and Arabic kebab set with Kabsa Lamb so good. Shopping area Shinsaibashisuji Muslim owner and staff reasonable price and big portion. Love to go again.

OMG this is one of the best experiences I have had in my 42 years of life. The juicy chicken was absolutely stunning. I am originally from the town of Karachi and even over there nothing compared to this. In Osaka where halal food is so scarce this restaurant took me back home as a little kid playing cricket then smelling my Dadi’s food. Too add on the hospitality was more than amazing, I felt Warm. As a fellow Ali I have respect for this absolute legend.

Today in lunch I went to alis kitchen and i ate very delicious Biriyani. Place was clean and cozy . Its really no1 biryani of japan i agree with this .please try one time if you visit or live in osaka. <3

Visited a couple of days ago on our Osaka trip. Good location but the food and chai was very disappointing. The hummus was cold and stale; the malai chicken Tikka was undercooked. I will not recommend...

Foods good. And one of the Halal restaurant at the area. Stumbled onto it just after a tiring day shopping. But its act a reservation based restaurant so better called up esp on weekends. We got lucky to be allowed a table on a Saturday night. Nice food. Ambiance is adequate. Friendliness? Hm, polite enough. We dont really feel comfortable at first since the lady who was at the receptions dont seem to be that welcoming but we were hungry.

One of the best Halal and Indian type restaurants in Osaka. The restaurant is quite small, so you need to book in advance. For lunch, they sometimes welcome walk-in customers , but It's not always. The access is great. It is located only 30 seconds from Shin-sai-bashi intersection. If your friends, tourists or customers want authentic halal food for lunch or dinner, take them to Ali's kitchen. They would be happy. Ali, the talkative owner, is sometimes too friendly but the hospitality is always great. He can easily handle several languages including Japanese. The food they serve is good and interesting to Middle east food explorers. Honestly speaking, there are too few good Halal restaurants in Osaka, so you can not compare this restaurant with the others. Anyhow it has been on the list of Michelin Bib Gourmand, so, you don't need to worry about their quality.

Great menu and delicious food.. Ordered lamb khabsah and chicken beriyani.. Place is very nice and cosy.. Went here on 3rd day in osaka and tried to repeat again today (day 6)but the table was no avail..the Owner ali johor was so kind suggesting another halal place (cafe bintang)..

The food is extremely delicious, shawarma set is a must try. It is located at basement floor. The owner and all staffs are very friendly, with excellent service. The price is average for a standard restaurant in Osaka (JPY 1300-1600 per person). I will definetely visit the restaurant on my next visit to Osaka. I hope future success for you Ali!

Delicious food with generous portion. I had kebab,chicken biryani and naan,all of them are delicious. The biryani has some spicy kick on it but not too much,even I who can't handle spicy food still can eat it. But if your spicy tolerance is like an average Japanese person you better ready to drink lots of water.

Ali’s kitchen is amazing. Their food is genuine to its roots, and the owner Ali is a great guy who is very kind and hilarious. He has a great relationship with all customers and on top of it all the food lives up to the hype. Highly recommend this place, not just as a halal option but just as a restaurant in general. It’s Michelin star is well deserved.

Best food ever had in Japan, clean and cheap lunch biryani is only 1000 and curry nan A Set only 750. We order biryani and Mutton curry A Set. Owner is very friendly and helping person guide us so many places for shopping and sightseeing me and my wife enjoyed lot. Highly recommend

We weren’t lucky to catch the famed owner of this place, and service was nothing special. However the food makes it worth the trip....Pricey as far as food in Japan goes, but you pay for what you get. Will be back!

I normally don't write the review but as I saw yesterday the couple was sitting next to us trying to explain to staff that's a bug baby in her Juice that's is really surprised becoz the men with that lady also can't see that bug it was kind of small pice of food but as you know in Japan customer is always right so staff apologized on very humble way. I really felt bad its not the way to treat a person from Asian country. By the way the food is excellent I am from Indian and their Biryani is b best even better the in Indian. Price is very reasonable Biryani is only 1300 Yen and big size. Tandoori chicken 3 pieces only 1000 Yen. Clean and perfect Arabic and Pakistani mixed interior love this place and hope to go again..
